This is a selection of the finished stools made with repurposed wood under the direction of master craftsman, Roy the Leura Bodger. First they made the mallet, then they used this tool for crafting the stool. Design, ingenuity, skill in making, persistence and patience are built into these lovely stools.
Colo River camping for High School was an opportunity to get into nature and to connect with one another beside the beautiful Colo River. We rafted down the river, made earth oven pizza for 40 campers, enjoyed reflective and warming fireside circle chats and generally had a wonderful time.
Kindlehill High School has Outdoor Education timetabled every week for this Spring term. Abseiling in Mt Victoria was first up. Class 7-8 have been getting physical in the woodwork room. Working with green wood to create mallets, they have now moved onto making stools.
