2026 Term 2: Mon 20th Apr - Fri 26th June

Kindlehill Fair, Saturday 28th March

January 28, 2026

On the 28th March, 2026 we will be hosting the Kindlehill Fair previously known as our Autumn Fair.

Why the name change?

The four-season calendar comes from European traditions, and as our understanding deepens, we have been learning from the seasonal knowledge of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. In acknowledging this, we felt it was the right time to move away from the term Autumn and choose language that better reflects Country and place.

Additionally, looking to the future we wanted to build in some flexibility about when we could hold our Fair Days and by changing the name it doesn’t uniquely place it at a specific time of the year.

How You Can Get Involved

This year there are plenty of places you can offer assistance to support the success of our Fair.

Class 3-4 will be running the food – we’re well known for our delicious and affordable lunches! If you would like to help, please contact S’haila at shaila@kindlehill.nsw.edu.au.

High School Students will be running the café – making hot drinks and selling homemade treats. Start baking and preparing for our usual fantastic Café offerings.

There will be a Market similar to the Twilight Market for families and friends of Kindlehill to share with the community their products and handmade beauties. If you are interested in holding a stall register your interest at community@kindlehill.nsw.edu.au.

There will be an array of activities for children and young people to experience a small taste of what a Steiner Education could be like for them.

Start inviting your friends and make sure your families and friends have the date in their diaries.

If you are interested to help in any of the above or have an idea for activities, promotions or any of the above please get in touch with me at erica@kindlehill.nsw.edu.au.

Families walk together across ancient tree roots under a swirling golden sky, honouring the rhythms of Country and community.

Acknowledgement of Country

Kindlehill Steiner School is situated on Dharug and Gundungurra land; we pay respects to the traditional custodians whose cultures and customs continue to nurture this land. We support the Uluru Statement from the Heart, Truth telling about the impact and legacy of colonisation, a Voice to Parliament enshrined in the Australian Constitution and a process of Treaty making.
