Open Day – Sensing into Collective Wellbeing

November 9, 2023

I recently read there is a correlation between the presence of birdsong and mental health and wellbeing. I thought of the joyful singing at Open Day, how singing and music re-thread our hearts with beauty, wonder and the joy of being together.

What was your favourite moment at Open Day? Did you manage a “slow moment”? Mine was eating delicious made and served with love curry, in the ambience of live music.

Rudolf Steiner speaks of the parents forming a skin around the school, the skin as a living organ of sense and breathing. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took on a coordinating role, and to those who pitched in and helped on the day or in preparations.

We have prepared a little slideshow to share some of the beautiful moments captured on the day. Enjoy. https://kindlehill.nsw.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/KH-Beautiful-Country-slideshow-720p.mp4
