Eco-narratives: the Power of Visual Storytelling

June 25, 2021

Class 8-9 students worked individually or in pairs to create a narrative in the form of a ‘visual text’ about a pressing eco-issue that concerned them. Communicating in engaging, arresting and/or humorous ways, students researched key issues and analysed pre-existing campaigns, ideas and artforms that inspired them. They then used language and imagery within their chosen art style and preferred medium to communicate their stories, sharing them within the school and on High School’s Instagram feed that reaches over a thousand schools and individuals, worldwide.
