We invite you to join us in creating a murmuration of light and warmth on
Winter’s Night. Seasonal community celebrations are a beautiful way to pause from our everyday lives and feel
ourselves connected to one another and to nature.
Winter’s Night Program
Arrival and welcome 5pm: Families park at the lake and walk to School to arrive for 5pm. Primary School children go directly to their classes for story and singing. Parents and carers are invited to gather outside of the kitchen for warming drink and conversation. BYO cup!
5:20pm Performance Space gathering: A cosy heartwarming musical feast to celebrate the renewal of the sun forces in nature and in our lives.
5:50pm Go to classrooms to light lanterns: Join the lantern murmuration of light as we walk down to the lake. Children now become the responsibility of their parent/carer and must be accompanied as they walk into the darkness to the lake. We suggest you bring matches to relight lanterns. On arriving home, we invite you to extend the mood of reverence and gratitude – lighting candles and sharing the evening or bedtime routine by candlelight.
