We have cradled our first seeds of the term, we have asked them, “What do you want to be?” We have listened. We have tucked them into their compost rich beds, watered them with the help our ever present cloud friends. Now, we are practising the finest art of the gardener…patience.
But the gardener or the farmer never stays still long! While we wait, we prune and mulch, water and harvest, and make space for something new!
Look out for the Kindness Stall out the front of the school on Wednesday afternoon. Fresh herbs, veggies and flowers grown with love available in exchange for a small gift- a song, a bolt of fine cloth or a bag of gold or two welcome.
Sarah has a B. Arts (UN) and a Master of Teaching (UNE). She works both as a teacher and as student support throughout the school.
