Kindlehill hosted Japanese students for a week in July. The students traveled from Japan to experience the wonders of the Blue Mountains, and to learn about schooling life in Australia. There was plenty of opportunity for staff and students to mix with the visitors, and we even hosted a lovely Australian BBQ. The students visited all classes during school hours, and were hosted in the evenings by parents of Kindlehill. This allowed them to experience the life of an Australian school student, both in school time and at home.
Kindlehill School is a K-10 Steiner School that sits on a hill above the Wentworth Falls Lake, in the Blue Mountains, NSW. We are an independant school working creatively and in a contemporary way, out of the foundation of Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy for education.
