Class 6/7 attended a week long camping trip to western New South Wales. The purpose of the trip was to follow up on our learning about the culture, environment and history of the people of NSW.
We studied the geography and history of the area, in particular the Wiradjuri Nation heritage, the history of the gold rush and farming between 1850 and federation. The students also spent their time cooking, putting up tents, and working together as a team. And having fun!
