As we start a new year in the Kindy Garden, our stories have been visiting the gentle and welcoming home of Mother Ocean. Here, the little creatures of the ocean find a safe and sheltered home in Tumballah’s Garden, here the seaweed protects us from the strong currents and there is always room for another friend in the rock pool. This sweet garden is like our own Kindy Garden. There is always a safe little nook to rest in when the seas become wild and rough, and we always find a way to let a new friend into our play or story.
The rainy start to the new term has allowed us to cosy up with our play, get to know one another and drink plenty of Friendship tea in the Tree House cubby. It is always a joy to welcome such a social and happy group into our Kindy home. Some days it really does feel that we are sailing on a gentle sea.
