The Civics and Citizens Camp was truly great – all the tours we had and the places we went to welcomed young people with enthusiasm and smiles – we were the first student visitors they had had for quite a while. NSW Parliament House, the State Library and the ANZAC War Memorial are easily places to be revisited in the near future – there was so much more to be explored. Walking the span of the Harbour Bridge, searching for nooks, crannies and Beatie Bow in the Rocks, finding good trees to climb, travelling on trams, buses and foot were just the tip on the iceberg of discovering Circular Quay and the City.
