The Kindlehill High School Sista Circle brings together Aboriginal girls in the school to engage in Cultural practice.
In Term 3, Jo Clancy worked with the girls on a project called Burudjara Bija (Butterfly Here in Darug language). They created a visual art work, learnt dances and songs in language and created a video around the fire circle at the school.
The girls have immensely enjoyed this special time with Jo and with each other.
Big thanks to Jo Clancy who is a gifted teacher of dance and culture.
