The year 8 students were amazing last week – three performances of ‘Reasons to Stay Inside’ in front of paying audiences. An incredible opportunity for them and an important development in their Drama Learning. They performed a brilliant show in front of school audiences both at schools and the Wentworth Falls School of the Arts. The show worked incredibly well in stimulating thought and discussion among stage 3 students about mental health and wellbeing. We partnered with Headspace to deliver accessible, peer to peer education programs through a thought provoking, skillful dramatic piece of interest to anyone at any age. Our students were a credit to our School. I am incredibly proud of them.
A big thank you to Georgia for making these incredible learning experiences happen for our students and having that ‘ever ready’ energy.
