Last weekend several of our High School Students who are part of the Penrith Youth Orchestra played their first concert for this year. The concert and the rehearsals gave our students the opportunity to be tutored by Ilya Isakovich from the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Additionally they were able to observe the Australian Chamber Orchestra in rehearsal action.
It is with much gratitude that we express our thanks to the incredible Ms Elizabeth Cooney. We are so incredibly fortunate to have her at the school and her work in preparing our students to take these next steps is exceptional and deeply valued.
To our students, Ella, Haley and Stella well done on your hard work and efforts
I was sad to miss it but the next one on June 21st is firmly in the diary.
