As Winter’s Night approaches, we would like to invite you to join us as we begin to draw in that cosy feeling of closeness, reverence and celebration that Winter’s Night brings.
As murmuration, we invite you to fly with us, tending to those around you, and bringing form to this special celebration.
There are a few ways to do this!
Community singing:
Join us every Wednesday after school in S’haila’s classroom to sing! We will be learning a few songs for Winter’s Night.
Come together around the fire:
Join us for two more Fridays after school the 9th and 16th June in bush circle, for a cuppa around the fire and a chat. We will be working on something creative for Winter’s Night.
Making Lanterns:
Check with your class teacher, they would love a hand with the loving making of lanterns.
Winter’s Night:
June 23rd we will celebrate. Perhaps you might like to join us in creating the space, the magic?
Sarah has a B. Arts (UN) and a Master of Teaching (UNE). She works both as a teacher and as student support throughout the school.
“One of the most exciting things when working to support students, is when they find something that they are passionate about, that they really connect to. Finding ways to support their engagement and the depth of their learning is incredibly rewarding. As a teacher, it is a pleasure to be working in an environment where creativity, critical thinking and a real sense of love for the world is valued and imbues all you do”.
