It was a beautiful Spring day on Saturday for our Open Day, the theme of Kindling a Deeper Social Feeling very much evident. Spring came with blossoms and bees, and also a bushfire and a strong wind that blew down a fence! But on Saturday, the intelligence, richness and beauty of the student work, the camaraderie amongst parents and staff as we worked cooperatively together to support the school practically and, in its ethos, made it a day to help bees turn hums into honey.
Thank you to everyone who helped, and especially to Erica and Class 3/4 families who organised and created a day to make the Jack Johnson Sharing Song a reality! Yes, it really is “always more fun to share with everyone!”.
