Wednesday mornings start with a felting workshop for adults; Connection is the theme; vessels are the creation.
Seeing the group take form and come to life is always a joy. Old friendships which started 20 years ago were rekindled, an online lecturer and her student met in person, and friends gathered with the intention of tuning into the present moment, connecting with others and allowing space to just be. Be here, be authentic, be creative.
We noticed as we began to create with our hands, expressions and inspirations from within emerged, our nervous system balanced, and meaningful connections were formed both within ourselves and with those around us.
The questions we all asked is ‘how can we make these spaces of connection, learning and creativity more accessible?’ How is it that these types of spaces have become such an expensive commodity? Individually how can we each ensure these spaces of connection in the community are inclusive and nourishing for everyone?’ We’d love to hear from you!
We reaffirmed our value of being in relationship with ourselves in the world.
