To be at the recent Class 6 project presentation was laugh out loud joyful. Enthusiasm, intelligence, problem solving and dogged perseverance were evident, as each young person articulately presented their individual year project with a splash of good humoured-ness. It is no exaggeration to say there were jaw dropping moments from the audience.
The Class 6 Big Project is an individual undertaking, frequently with the support of a mentor (and parents!) taking twists and turns through the year; the journey as important as what is placed before us as final and finessed presentation. It is designing and making that requires big picture thinking with a very local application.
Wow! Just Wow!
