Join us on Sunday afternoon
3 May from 1-3pm for a beautiful Kindlehill community singing event.
It’s our first event, as part of the newly formed Community Circle (Kindlehill parent committee).
We will be meeting in the performance space.
The fabulous Gina, local musician and choir mistress will lead us. Gina Tedeschi is a Blue Mountains based musician, arranger and music teacher. She currently work as the music director of two choirs – The Common People Chorus and Adult Glee Club.
She runs a monthly pop-up choir workshops using her own a-capella arrangements of modern songs, and the sessions are always very inclusive, fun and relaxed. Anyone is welcome whether or not they’ve ever sang in a group before.
Her instagram @thecommonpeoplechorus gives an example of the sort of vibe and songs she does.
We will be singing in parts, which Gina has arranged and will teach us on the day. We would love to have a mix of voices and some male/ low voices too.
We will be singing the beautiful song: White Winter Hymnal by Fleet Foxes
No singing experience is required, just a love of music and singing together
You can listen and get familiar with the song before Sunday:
The event is $10 for parents and teachers and free for students.
Please RSVP to: Madeleinefdignam@gmail and Maddy will send you details for payment.
The Community Circle is looking to offer events to build relationships between families at KindleHill, and model for our children the strength and joy of a strong and vibrant community.
We hope to see you there!
