Starting Kindy is a time filled with great excitement and anticipation for our new children, as well as for the teachers. We gently prepare a space that will help the young child feel safe and supported as they start their new journey into school.
Stories are told about the gentle rock pool where the seaweed sways and the waves gently lap. Here in our Kindy rock pool, there is always a spot to rest in the sun, play with our friends and be lulled by the soft push and pull of the ocean.
In Kindy we will start our first days slowly and gently, building connections and a sense of belonging that will one day prepare us for stormy days, bigger waves, and great adventures! I can’t wait!
