Class 2-3 cake stall was a great success! We made lots of money for the Blue Mountains Animal Care Centre! Thanks everyone for your support and to all of our bakers.
This term, Class 2-3 have been looking at the subject of ‘Before there was Money – Gifting, Sharing, Swapping, Bartering and Trading.’ This stall was a way to decide on a worthy cause together as a class, make our own money, touch on decimals and count up the hard cash from the class shop.
We raised $407 for the Blue Mountains Animal Care Centre as well as practiced handling REAL money, calculating the correct change, and adding up all the coins and notes for the final amount. The students really enjoyed this activity, and I hope we can visit the Animal Centre in the future.

Thank you, Class 2-3, from BMACC
Good afternoon S’haila and Class 2-3,
We wanted to say a BIG thank you for such an amazing fundraising achievement and your very kind decision to donate funds to help the animals at Blue Mountains Animal Care Centre. We help lost and abandoned animals and will use the money to be food and treats to help look after them and keep them happy while they are waiting for new homes.
We would love to host your class at the shelter for a visit!!
Kind regards
Emma
P.S. All our animals say thank you:)
