We will gather at The Gunya Shed, end of Plantation Street, Wentworth Falls at 5pm.
Children will collect their lanterns from there to shine their little light on the walk up to the school, with their families. We will start the walk up to school around 5.30pm.
At school, Uncle Lex will welcome us with a smoking. Families will have a chance to walk through the “Nest of Belonging”. Families will have a chance to add to the nest and create a community collection of hopes for each other and the world. A thought, a word even on a leaf can be added to the nest of belonging so that each family contributes to belonging at Kindlehill.
Families will then enter the Performance Space around 6pm – 6.30pm. Here children will connect with their class teacher and sit with them in readiness to share the stories and songs of our Winters Night performance.
At the conclusion around 7.30pm, families should come and collect their children from the stage area and wander home in the silence of the winter’s evening.
It will be a really beautiful evening.
