Kindlehill Autumn Fair & Open Day – 11th May, 10am – 2pm
Festivals and celebrations are such a lovely and important part of a Steiner Education. They connect us to nature and celebrate the rhythm of the changes that we can observe and experience. This is the deep love for our earth. They are also increasingly important as they are a way that we can connect to each other. We come to celebrate and enjoy all that is on offer but also, I would argue more importantly to work alongside each other, to support the shared goal, the common good. It builds communities; strong and solid. It feels to me so intrinsic to our sense of wellbeing. Steiner called this idea of working together “splashing in the spirit”. A playful way to co-create and work together, to do something beautiful and good in the world. It’s a way to care for people.
I warmly invite you to put your old gumboots on and come let’s splash together at our Autumn Fair.
Beautiful celebration at our Autumn Fair will have:
- Exhibition of Student Work – A wonderful journey from Kindy to Senior School through an exhibition of student work.
- Slow Fashion Market – A chance for us all to refresh our wardrobes and share our abundance of clothing. Contact Sarah to book a stall.
- Coffee and Cake Café – High school baristas will be making coffees and serving homemade delicious treats.
- Craft Stall & Book Stalls – Crafts and toys lovingly made by hand. A range of books from Steiner House and a stall by Rosey Ravelston Bookstore.
- Delicious Wholesome Food -Nourishing, homemade, and healthy lunch fresh from the garden.
- Activities Galore -Hands on, physical and crafty. Come try your hand at a few new things – leap into new adventures.
- Music Tent – Student performances and open mic for musicians and performers.
