Kindy Craft

September 17, 2024
Busy hands weave and sew colourful crafts, nurturing connection and rhythm at Kindlehills shared wooden table.

As we move through the year, we are so excited to start seeing lovely Kindy Craft being completed. Our Kindy Craft is not a speedy take home task, but rather, a gentle and wilful process. Many hours are spent with busy fingers and chatting children. It is how we start our morning each day in Kindy, as we warm up our hands, hearts and friendships.  When one child finishes their craft, ready to take home, we suddenly see a surge in craft being done in play times, as the children long to see their completed animal, bag or teddy bed. I love watching the reluctant child finding their way into their craft, and the joy and satisfaction of completion. It is such a beautiful journey to watch unfold.
